About Me

My name is Samuel Groner and I was born in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1980. My main interests are high performance RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuit design. Currently I’m with Saphyrion sagl, Bioggio, Switzerland where I’m working on RF CMOS and BiCMOS integrated circuits. My previous positions were at Miromico IC AG, Zurich, Switzerland where I designed high-speed mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuits (ADCs and PLLs in the microwave frequency range), and at Weiss Engineering Ltd., Uster, Switzerland for the design of high-end audio electronics. Further activities included teaching.

I’ve received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, in 2006 and the MA degree in recording engineering from the Zurich University of the Arts, Zurich, in 2010.
